Sooo i never got around to really repurposing this blog but i kept reblogging art i like here anyways? So i guess I’ll just keep it that way and use it as a kind of gallery! I’ll probably still do a theme overhaul and might also change my name to something either snippy-related (to fit my “main”-that-isnt-actually-my-main, @snippyschnapps ) or just. A name for me to actually go by (might do smthn with penrose in it idk)

Either way im gonna pin this post for now so if you’re new here or returning looking for old art: I’ve moved posting of my art to @regular-dog and I post/reblog general stuff at @snippyschnapps . @snops is my danny phantom sideblog and i put my fics there too

Commission status: open for both small stuff like sketch pages, and also 10+ hour pieces; however I am unlikely to be taking on complicated backgrounds right now unless you’re happy to wait a long time for it. I’m also doing ko-fi requests, and if you wanna help with cost of living, donations are also welcomed

one thing you won’t know until you experience it for yourself when you create art out of love is how it feels when people receive it with love. when you post a doodle and someone keeps it as their lockscreen, or when you write a story and someone tells you they were thinking about it all day, or when you post a poem and someone shares it with a touching caption. doesn’t matter if it was objectively good or not. matters that someone spent time with it, that someone really, really liked it, and you made it. this kind of interaction, i think, it can really sustain you for weeks. it can sustain you through a lot of terrible things. its confirmation that you exist, and that (however briefly) your existence was appreciated by someone else through your art.
